Following technical and commercial training at the Beaune Viticultural School, Bruno started to work with his parents and brother in 1993 at the family Domaine Michel Colin-Deleger.

In 2003, the mutual decision was taken to divide the family domaineinto three separate entities – Domaine Bruno Colin is one of them. Bruno created his first vintage in 2004.
