We are delighted to announce the release of our new single cru of Sant Ilario Moscato, the grapes were harvested in the in village of Cassinasco. Two small plots one south east with some wines with more than sixty years, while the others more exposed in the Sori
(= Piedmonts dialect for the part of the hillside where the snow melts first, meaning full southern exposure and therefore the best place for the vines).
Low yields and a superb site result in one of the most intense Moscato readers are likely to come across. It is not an understatement to say this is a wine that literally redefines what is possible with the mature grapes. Exotic flowers, lime, green pears and the essence
of crushed rocks flow effortlessly from this dazzling wine. The Sant Ilario has the focus and cool, great minerality with the sweetness of Moscato.
