Domaine des Comtes Lafon is not only a leading producer in Meursault village but also one of the few in the Cote d’Or that produces equally good Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Under the care of Dominique Lafon, the domaine is cultivated according to biodynamic principles with no use of herbicides or chemical spray. This is why its range of white Burgundy has become the very pinnacle of the region, characterized with superlative fruit, power, complexity and total harmony. Les Heritiers du Comte Lafon was established in 1999, achieving new standards in Macon. This domaine covers 14 hectares where biodynamic techniques, low yield and hand-harvest are in practice.
